Yes, here it is: The first bicycle shop in China focused on fixed gear bikes! The logo is a green banana and the name is NATOOKE
This store is dedicated to urban cycling. You will not find a bike with gears in this shop, so no road bikes nor any mountain bikes. All bicycles are single speed and mainly have a fixed back wheel, meaning no ability to coast. Like the bikes used in the velodrome these are track bikes with horizontal dropouts in the back end of the frame to be able to adjust the chain tension. This is extremely suitable for cycling in the flat and nicely paved Beijing urban city. The shop has all the different parts required to build up a fixed gear bike like the fixed gear hubs, flipflop hubs, cogs, lock rings, rims, tires, seat posts, saddles, stems, handle bars, handle bar grips, chains, cranks, chain rings, pedals, cages, toe clips, straps… Each customer can chose what brand, what style and which color he prefers so that we can put together that one-of-a-kind unique bike.

On the All-China Sports Federation website there was an article posted about my performance for the China Fitness Day. Here is the original article on sport.org.cn. In the original article my name is wrong, they wrote 依泉 instead of my real name 伊泉.
德国车手献技奥体中心 呼吁运动重建自行车王国

华奥星空北京8月8日电(记者一索)“2001年第一次来北京的时候，这里确实是我所听说的‘自行车王国’的样子，而现在太多的人选择了汽车，既不健身也不环保，也许两年后或用不了多长时间，我在北京再也看不到自行车了。”33岁的德国人伊泉在国家奥体中心的“全民嘉年华”现场对本网记者说。
伊泉本名Ines Brunn，在北京雍和宫附近经营着一家自行车行。13岁接触自行车运动的她在两，三年后便入选了专业队并成为了德国自行车国家队的一员。虽然来到中国已有五年时间，十几年的专业训练依然让伊泉保持着对自行车运动的激情与热爱。在今天奥体中心的“全民健身嘉年华”活动中，她应北京自行车运动协会邀请前来表演车技。头顶倒立，前轮腾空旋转，背身倒骑。。。一个个杂技般的车上动作让围观的群众不断拍手称奇。
时常参加中国公路自行车比赛的她如今虽然只是玩票性质，却每天坚持着运动。伊泉说：“我每天在市内都要骑50公里以上，如果在八达岭长城，怀柔，昌平郊区就会骑到100公里左右。”为了让更多的人喜爱上自行车运动，伊泉放弃了今天老山的比赛来到了嘉年华现场。
对于全民健身日的设立，伊泉表示十分赞同，她笑称欧美人很多人都不运动，德国人可能比美国人好点，有些会去爬山，但还是有很多人由于缺乏运动养起了啤酒肚。
对于北京曾经被称作“自行车王国”，伊泉表示她在来中国之前就对此有所了解也曾在8年前来北京时为所看到的脚踏车大潮所痴迷，然而今天越来越多的汽车占据了城市令她感到沮丧。“开车的人太多了，他们甚至开到非机动车道里对着我不停的按喇叭。你知道，现在气温这么高和开车开空调都有关系。”
去年的北京奥运会，伊泉作为体育迷也亲身去参观了14个大项的比赛，包括跳水，游泳，体操，排球，当然还有她最喜爱的自行车。
2007年，伊泉和一个朋友共同创立了“北京死飞自行车俱乐部”，对于这个奇怪的俱乐部名称，伊泉解释说，一般人骑的是飞轮自行车，而他们选择的是轮子和脚踏板固定的单车，如果要骑行脚必须一直进行蹬踏动作。
从两年前只有两个人的组织发展至今有了60多人的规模，伊泉希望越来越多的人可以重新选择自行车出行，选择健康生活方式。
Today is the National Fitness Day in China. And that is just on the 1 year anniversary for the Opening of the Beijing Olympics. So there was a „Fitness of the Nation Carnival 2009“ at the National Olympic Sports Center in Beijing. I was asked to come and do my trick bike performance. Unfortunately in the morning just on the way there it stared to have a major thunderstorm. The whole area was soaked.
It did stop raining but I still had no hope that it would ever dry for me to be able to safely perform my bike tricks.
My friends from the Haidian bicycling group were there. We took some pictures while waiting for the place to get drier. They had brought a bike trainer as well as a bike roller. The bike roller was quite dangerous as everything was wet.
Eventually it did get drier and the performances started. I liked the dragon diabolos. After them it was my turn to perform with my trick bike. I uploaded many pictures to a webalbum.
Outside Beijing in Shunyi area between the never ending construction sites of new multi villa compounds a mall complex for brands had their grand opening. Fede and me were booked as performing artists to entertain the visitors with juggling tricks, slapstick, unicycling and bike tricks.
Jess and some other musicians were booked to play jazz music for the VIP guests. Jess received professional make-up and hair-do by the stylists of the models.
The Chinese fashion world seems strange to me. The models must be considered beautiful and handsome by somebody, or? I still wonder who likes their „fashion“ clothes like for example the horrible cream colored skirt with black dots of the model on the left side of the picture. Or their ugly shoes that they have problems walking in. I might just not understand Chinese fashion.
The place was quite crowded and it was fun to do some bike tricks there.
Jess looked amazing in that silk cocktail dress and with a real flower in her hair.
Afterwards back in the city I met visiting friends in an outdoor „beer garden“ style venue. It was the first time I got some mosquitoe bites this summer. But as always they were gone right away.

Interview with Ines Brunn
Well I thought I‘ try something different. How about an Interview with the Queen of Fixed Gear Ines Brunn. I’m sure you all have seen her in action! Shes the one who did all those incredible tricks on You Tube while the rest of us were trying to figure out track stands!
1)First Ines where were you born and raised? Is that where you got your bicycle training?
I was born in Germany, moved to the US (New Jersey) at the age of 3. I started gymnastics at the age of 6. We moved back to Germany when I was 9 years old and I continued competitive gymnastics till the age of 13. At that point I by chance found the sport called artistic cycling which is gymnastics on a bike and started it right away. My gymnastics background helped me a lot for the balance, the flexibility as well as the strength.
2) I see you speak English fluently how many other languages do you speak fluently?
Hard to say. Definitely one other language fluently: German. My Chinese is pretty good and my French used to be very good (but seems to be hidden behind all the Chinese words right now)
3) Most everyone’s seen your videos on trick riding, where did you learn to ride like that? you obviously were professionally trained?
I started at the age of 13. The coach in the local club could not show me anything new after a few months. But I got accepted to the regional team right away and after 3 years I was on the German National team. There we had professional training.
4) Where have you worked as a performer?
I have performed in many different countries such as: South Africa, Russia, Sri Lanka, USA, China, Malaysia, Hong kong, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria…
Some places I did 62 performances in 31 days. I perform for company events, corporate anniversaries, evening galas, TV shows, bike competitions, cycling events, parties, festivals…
5) How long have you been riding?
20 years (oh know, now you know my age)
6) Have you raced or been involved in any other type of riding?
I did the artistic cycling competitively for 16 years until I moved to China. I have competed in the Cyclo Cross races last winter and really enjoyed that. Just 2 weeks ago I did my first road race. That was interesting too. There is another race next week.
7) Now I see your in China, what are you doing over there?
I came to China for an American company in the telecommunication industry. Now I am planning on opening a fixed gear bike shop.
8)What type of gearing set up and bike do you use for your trick bike?
I have my original trick bike with a 1 to 1 gear ratio. It is easy to do tricks on that but you cannot rode it around town. I have a small track bike that I use for riding and tricks. I have a 45 tooth chain ring and a 18 tooth cog. I put a smaller front wheel so that I can bar spin.
9) With the type of riding your doing I’m sure you’ve had some crashes, anything serious?
Yes, sure I had a quite a few. The worst is falling into the bike. You should always make sure to fall off (and best roll off) away from the bike. I had some head first crashes into the bike while practicing the handstand. It even happened during the German Championship. The worst
fall off my bike while not doing any tricks was a few weeks ago. I was ghost riding my trick bike and it suddenly started jumping and got tangled with my fixed gear bike to I did a face first dive over the handlebars. My wrists are still in pain so I have not done any tricks lately.
10) Do you have a favorite bike and what is it?
I like different bikes for different purposes. For example for riding longer distances or to work I love my blue Corima fixed gear bike with front brake. For playing around I love my small pink Cinelli fixed gear bike but when it rains or I just go to a nearby restaurant or bar I love
my 1970s old Flying Pigeon converted to fixed gear.
11) Is there anything you’d like to say to all the fixed gear riders out there?
For all cyclists: Get on your bikes and enjoy life!
For all fixed gear riders doing tricks: Keep being innovative and playing around! Your children and grandchildren will be proud of you being the pioneers in fixed gear trick riding

I found this article on the hi-chic magazine website about my visit to Guangzhou last December. I met up with the Guangzhou fixed gear riders and we played around on our track bikes. I did some tricks on my pink fixed gear bike. Here is the article.

如果不是听到一些Fixed Gear Bike死忠玩家的介绍，例如“我从没想到在北京会遇到伊泉，我在6年前就在网上看到过他表演的视频……”或是“伊泉可是车店老板重点推荐给我的玩 家……”你可能不会想到，伊泉这位一直精神焕发的年长女性会在新兴潮流Fixed Gear界有这么大的名气。其实她真是一名德国花样单车的演员，她可以在Fixed Gear Bike上做出很多花式动作，把Fixed Gear Bike当作BMX玩，这不是任何人都能做到的，甚至是不少天才少年也要练习一段时间才可以达到的境界。
但在单车之下，作为一家外企亚太区经理的伊泉似乎一直不断的在摸索着关于单车的花式技术，她总是不停的练习各种惊险动作。伊泉就生活在两个世界里，Fixed Gear Bike世界和没有Fixed Gear Bike的世界。伊泉原本是一名体操运动员，入选了德国国家队。在德国，如果体操运动员到13岁的时候没有更高的造诣，就要放弃这个项目，而就是在 13岁遇到了自行车运动，她觉得自己可以在自行车上施展体操才能，就这样，自行车表演成为了她的主业。后来她也入选了德国自行车表演队。
07年，伊泉在纽约第一次见到了Fixed Gear Bike。第一感觉就是这辆车太酷了，造型简单却有着惊人的速度，最重要的是没有一辆车是相同的。所以伊泉第一无二的亮粉色车架，是她精心挑选的颜色喷绘到淘来的古董车架上的。其实Fixed Gear Bike是带有手工艺元素的工业产品，因此在欧洲的价格很高。作为一名自行车老玩家，伊泉深得全世界采购Fixed Gear Bike零件的心得，她会给想接触Fixed Gear Bike的朋友不少好的建议。所以Fixed Gear作为一个沟通的管道，也让她和一众年轻人结下颇为热血的友情。
即便技术已经令人称赞，伊泉还是总是要摆弄她的自行车，调试各个零件一丝不苟。伊泉说：“我还要适应并且调试这辆车，我觉得Fixed Gear Bike也有很多拓展性，我要把它挖掘出来。”

我国是世界上荒漠化和沙化面积大、分布广、危害重的国家之一，严重的土地荒漠化、沙化威胁着生态安全和经济社会的可持续发展，威胁中华民族的生存和发展。 其中，中国第一大沙漠——塔克拉玛干面积的扩大尤其引人注目。塔克拉玛干沙漠距北京5700余公里，位于南新疆塔里木盆地。在维吾尔语里，它是“进去出不 来的地方”的意思，当地人通常称它为“死亡之海”。它盛夏最高温度可达67.2℃，昼夜温差最大可达40℃以上，自然条件非常恶劣。在许多探险家的心目 中，塔克拉玛干沙漠是一个最神秘、最具有诱惑力的挑战胜地。近年来，随着沙漠中间植被遭到破坏，以及气候的变迁，塔克拉玛干沙漠面积有不断扩大的趋势。在 它与库木塔格沙漠边缘近2000公里的风沙线上，流动沙丘每年以5至10米的速度向前推进，受风沙危害最重的且末县和若羌县如今已是沙临城下，一部分农牧 民的生存环境受到威胁。
我台此次组织“梦想骑手 穿越塔克拉玛干”大型自行车主题活动不仅仅是一次群众性自行车志愿骑行活动，更将立意落在引导社会大众关注日益严峻的土地荒漠化问题上。穿越途中，骑手们 不但要挑战恶劣的自然环境，更要把自己亲眼见到、亲身经历的土地荒漠化情况记录下来，汇集成一部考察报告，提交给有关部门作为防沙治沙的参考。

2007年10月27日，“2007长城国际自行车嘉年华”（2007’Great Wall Bicycle Festival）在国内一流滑雪度假村——位于八达岭长城脚下的八达岭滑雪场举办。来自中国、美国、丹麦、瑞士、日本和中国香港的近300名自行车越野运动爱好者，参加了男子精英组、女子精英组、大学生接力组、俱乐部接力组、青少年组和VOLVO公司接力组的比赛。比赛之后进行了颁奖仪式。
下图是进行完下午的赛程后进行颁奖之前，特意从德国请来的自行车表演艺术家伊泉（音译）的现场表演。以下为表演现场图片。

“绿色出行 小轮车大赛”引来民间“高手”———
本报讯 延续了“绿色奥运”精神，由本报举办的“骑上小轮车 绿色好出行”活动昨日不仅吸引了众多市民的参与，还迎来了一位特殊的选手——来自德国的工程师，自行车表演艺术家伊泉女士不仅饶有兴味地挑战了“百米赛道”，还现场展示了高难度的车技表演。
来自德国的伊泉女士不仅是一个身体力行的环保人士，也是一位出色的自行车表演艺术家。她从小是一个体操运动员，13岁开始迷上花式自行车，她现在的职业是工程师，４年前来到中国。伊泉住在东大桥，每天骑车到西单金融街上班。
伊泉称她平时骑的是难度较高的固定齿轮车，这种车速度快、轻巧，没有任何刹车等装置，全部靠脚蹬和齿轮来控制骑行，一般用于杂技表演。记者了解到，她是骑固定齿轮车的高手，网上她的车技视频广为流传。
在昨天的地坛书市，伊泉的表演引来了大批市民的围观，“这跟中国杂技很像，但是又不太一样。”一位市民对此很感兴趣，大家对她的表演都报以热烈的掌声，有人怕伊泉不明白，还用英文大喊，“太棒了，谢谢你！”没想到伊泉用标准的中文回答道，“不用谢！”
在大家的鼓励下，伊泉还现场挑战了“小轮车大赛”百米赛道。这是由本报为广大市民量身定做的设有六种障碍的“Ｕ”型赛道，每一站都设有一处特殊的“站牌 ”和诸如鹅卵石、废胶皮之类的路障，选手必须完成从“北京青年报”站到“小红帽”站的整个赛程，用时最短的选手将有可能夺得大奖。
据悉，到目前为止，一位10来岁的小孩创造了20秒左右的纪录，伊泉决定对这个速度发起冲击，一圈下来，25秒，“太慢了！”她显然对自己的成绩不满意。“ 小轮车比赛不见得是成年人或者专业自行车手的强项，它要求体态轻盈和很好的平衡性，小孩子反而有优势。”活动主办方称。
